Week 12 - Prototyping, Prototyping, Prototyping

This week RecruitWho was focused on the accumulation of all our ideas into one presentation, in preparation for next week. We had to assemble our individual work into one place. There were a few loose ends that needed to be resolved due to the availability of people being interviews. It was time for Prototyping… Prototyping, is the phase of design thinking that allows you to address all components for a design, reject anything that doesn’t work and resolve issues (MAQE, 2020). Being able to test our prototype on people involved in different industries was invaluable and really became the basis for our final presentation. We came up with a list of questions to ask to two people in an executive role and interviewed them. The questions found them to be intrigued by the project, however wary of the incorporation into their industry. It might be that RecruitWho cannot be utilized in a customer-facing role, such as hospitality, where personality and personability is so crucial to the role. However, we believe development of the interface and software, would make it eventually possible, and the biggest issue will be getting past employers’ initial reluctance.
